A reference to Kara Walker's After the Deluge?

I think removing the sun might improve the piece. Overall, nicely done (thumbup)

Thank you.

I don't know her to be honest, but I'll google right now.

The idea is cool, but I'll like it better if it's a realistic painting (but that's my taste)

i'd suggest that you remove the "sun" as byonder already said...
I'd rather see even more of those layers of city (more and even a little little lighter ones in the background)
Silhouette is great! (thumbup)

Agreed about the sun, and that the image could use more depth, but it's a really nice concept.

I like the idea and the simply execution but the sun... I think that use this kind of effects can damage a picture. It´s my modest opinion

Puts me in mind of Empire Of The Sun! Lovely. I know that word (lovely) is very gay but, whatever!

You like silouets don't you? I like it, but don't get lost in them.
Try different things.

I love the theme.

@AJ: Great movie. Thanks.
I don't think that the word "lovely" is too gay. You're still in the Guys Club.
Harhar!

@pm: Time stands still in this place.

@Agnes: Don't worry. These are the only two sillouette pictures I have and there are other kind of motives screaming in my head right now. 8)

@Paranoid: Be patient! Dinner will be served when ready.
I'm already cooking. :)
