Eek. I like the variety of brushstrokes and the expressiveness of his face. It's interesting how much his expression--and personality--change if you cover up the left eye (from freaky dude to freaked-out). One thing I really liked about the last ink painting you posted was the greater contrast in value and stroke weights; the thinner, more controlled lines were a nice counterpoint to the more expressive swaths of ink. Do like the hair here and the neck lines (are they drips?).
Hmm, I know you can't fix this on the original, but the temperature difference between the moon and the rest of the piece is a little distracting.
Anyway, keep painting/drawing/whatever. :p I look forward to more of these!

Thank you.
Well, his neck was a drip and then I smeared it with a reshaped pigeon feather to the form hair. I'm still experimenting with my smudgy side. Before that I was a detail-fetishist like many other people around here. An explanation why this one looks how it looks. And yes, it's really a bit distracting. Looks a bit nicer in my book.
Maybe if I add some of the coldness in his eyes?

Did I get another 0-Vote btw?
Oh well... maybe I reminded someone of his rape-experience.

I like the expressionism in your works. Very inspiring. :)

I like the brush stroke look, but as you stated, you are still refining how you apply it. so, I can't wait to see where it evolves.

My last crit is more presentation oriented: the left edge where the image ends could be cropped out.
